10th International Urban Sketch symposium this year in Amsterdam!
From 24 to 27 July 2019 the annual international symposium for Urban Sketchers takes place in Amsterdam. The symposium is being organised this year for the 10th time. Each year it is held in a different city, with cosmopolitan cities such as Porto, Chicago and Singapore visited in recent years.
No less than 500 urban sketchers from all over the world are coming to Amsterdam to meet one another and follow various workshops at different locations in the city. These workshops are only for participants. However, a number of public ‘sketch walks’ have been organised for this 10th edition. The art market in the Zuiderkerk is also open for everyone from Wednesday 25 to Saturday 27 July. A varied range of the latest drawing and painting materials will be available during this art market.
