Personnel Announcement: Best Wishes to Kirk Gillespie

Dear Friends,

It is bittersweet to announce that Kirk Gillespie will be leaving Royal Talens North America, effective August 1st, 2019. Kirk has been a vital part of the development of Royal Talens North America and someone whom I consider a very dear, close friend. Being one of the first hires of our new team back in 2015, Kirk brought his knowledge from the product, retailer and wholesaler sides of the industry and immediately made an indelible impact on the business with his strategic thinking, his energy, and his understanding of how we envisioned being a uniquely different type of company and how important a Royal culture and deep relationships are to making that possible.

There’s no doubt that his fingerprint will always be visible on this company and I give him a heartfelt thanks for his contributions, dedication and continued friendship.

Kirk has an exciting reason for this departure and one that I am sure he will make into a success. He and his family have made the move to open a unique retail store in the Napa Valley area and his knowledge and expertise is certainly going to be utilized and beneficial in that endeavor. So, while this is sad in some ways for our team, we are equally happy for him and hope to see him flourish as he has in the past with opening running and making successful business thrive.

In related news, there will be a follow-up announcement shortly for a new position, managing our sales department, which we will be recruiting for as well over the next several months.
