2024 Creativation by NAMTA Recap

This year’s show in New Orleans was an exciting one for Royal Talens North America in many ways. Our booth was abuzz with activity throughout the show as we introduced innovative new products and new merchandising concepts. We enjoyed meeting with our many wonderful customers, creative industry design professionals and long-time industry friends.

Here are the highlights in case you missed it!

Our Cobra “Join the RevOILution” Trendcap took the top prize for Best Point of Purchase Display. Available in June.

We launched 12 new Amsterdam Standard Acrylic Colors in 20ml and 120ml tubes – 6 new metallics and 6 new pastels. Open stock, new assortments and assortment add-ons will be available in June.

Inspiring gifts for the holidays were on display and ready to pre-book for seasonal sales opportunities. Pre-book by April 30th with your RTNA sales rep.

The New Talens Designer Gouache Sets recently added into stock were very popular.

We also had great response to the video preview and information shared about the new animated film, “The Peasant’s” showing in theaters now and coming to home theaters this summer. The scenes from the film were painted entirely with Cobra Artist paints.

Our new North American Paper Program was launched, featuring a Van Gogh stack-out display ready to roll into stores for upcoming back-to-school sales.

We celebrated 125 years of Rembrandt with the launch of two new Rembrandt Oil Color Sets coming in July and new Watercolor Paper Pads and Blocks available now.

Art Ambassador Vic Hollins was our featured booth demonstrator who impressed attendees with her beautiful artwork featuring the new Talens Pantone markers and inks. On the first day, she demonstrated the new Amsterdam Acrylic colors making Royal Crowns perfectly themed for our setting in New Orleans. A big thank you to Carmi at John Bead Company for supplying the gems for the crowns.

One of the most newsworthy events at the show was the kick-off of our exciting collaboration with craft industry leader Sizzix. We kicked off this craft-meets-art partnership with inspiring product demos by Jen Long and a fun social event.

Last but not least, we sponsored two of the creative professional members of Namta who made giant letters that spelled out the word “Creativation.” Julianna Avelar and Ann Butler used our Amsterdam Acrylics for their respective letters, I and O.

We’re excited for next year’s show in Seattle from April 6th-8th. Hope to see you there!
